The recent decade has witnessed the accelerated development of the Islamic capital market industry, particularly of the global Sukūk market which is providing a unique platform for fostering greater international economic and financial linkages. The 2nd edition IFSB-BIBF Islamic Finance Executive Programme with the theme “Towards a Vibrant Islamic Capital Market: Opportunities and Challenges” will focus on key areas that are expected to be catalysts in driving the Islamic capital market into the next phase of growth and development from the perspectives of the market practitioners, regulators and academia. This Islamic Finance Executive Programme aims to promote an informed analysis and understanding of Islamic capital markets through discussions of topical and contemporary issues as well as of prospects and challenges relating to Islamic capital market products and services.
