Financial Inclusion Framework for Islamic Financial Institutions
Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive understanding of how Islamic financial institutions (IFIs) can design and implement effective financial inclusion frameworks that align with Shariah principles. Key focus of the course is the development of institutional strategies and measurable frameworks, including impact assessment tools, governance structures, and the integration of Maqasid al‑Shariah as a guiding principle in promoting inclusiveness. Case studies and practical exercises will enable participants to evaluate gaps, design targeted interventions, and strengthen implementation capacity within their own institutions. Participants will gain insights into global practices, challenges, and opportunities relevant to low‑income communities, SMEs, women‑led enterprises, and informal sectors. Qualification: Participants should have basic understanding in Islamic finance, financial inclusion, regulation and supervisory.
