IFSB-FIS Workshop on IFSB Standards for Regulatory and Supervisory Authorities for the Islamic Capital Market and Takaful sectors

This Workshop is open to regulatory and supervisory authorities for the Islamic Capital Market and Takaful sectors of the IFSB member countries. It intends to be a Train The Trainer programme for the staff on the IFSB Standards, and aims to:

 

    1. enhance the participants’ understanding of the respective Standards and Guiding Principles thereby facilitating the implementation of these standards in their respective jurisdictions;

 

    1. assist the participants in practical application of issues addressed in the particular standards through case studies, hands-on exercises and other interactive tools; and

 

    1. promote the sharing of experiences among regulators and supervisors on the implementation of respective IFSB Standards and Guiding Principles.
