This workshop is conducted upon the request of the Central Bank of Kuwait to introduce participants with the latest IFSB standard related to capital adequacy which is IFSB-23 (Revised Capital Adequacy Standard for Institutions Offering Islamic Financial Services (IIFS)). In addition, the workshop will have a special session on the Shari’ah Governance Framework from IFSB Standards’ perspective (IFSB-10).
The workshop will discuss topics like capital adequacy and macroprudential measures, regulatory capital, principles for minimum capital requirements based on credit, market risk and operational risks, among other aspects.
