IFSB Capacity Building Workshop for Market Players in Oman

As part of IFSB’s objectives in facilitating implementation of IFSB Standards, the IFSB Secretariat consistently offers capacity development initiatives including FIS Workshops for IFSB members. This capacity building for market players (CBM) workshop is held alongside with the 59th Technical Meeting in the Sultanate of Oman. As a collaborative event with the Central Bank of Oman, the 2-day workshop consists of eight (8) sessions focusing on Islamic Banking with the following details to cover:

• IFSB-12: Guiding Principles on Liquidity Risk Management for Institutions offering Islamic Financial Services (IIFS)
• IFSB-23: Revised Capital Adequacy Standard for IIFS
• GN-6: Guidance Note on Quantitative Measures for Liquidity Risk Management
