Facilitating Implementation of the IFSB Standards (FIS) Workshop for CMA of Saudi Arabia

As part of IFSB’s objectives in facilitating implementation of IFSB Standards, the IFSB Secretariat consistently offers capacity development initiatives including FIS Workshops for IFSB members. This FIS workshop is held alongside with the 42nd Council Meeting and the 21st General Assembly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a collaborative event with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Capital Market Authority of Saudi Arabia, the 2-session workshop focuses on Islamic Capital Market for CMA and its domestic market players with the following details to cover:

• IFSB-19: Guiding Principles on Disclosure Requirements for Islamic Capital Market Products (Sukuk and ICIS)
• IFSB-21: Core Principles for Islamic Finance Regulation (ICM Segment)
