The IFSB Summit 2021, Islamic Finance and Digital Transformation: Balancing Innovation and Resilience to Gather 9 Central Bank Governors and 26 Distinguished Speakers

Kuala Lumpur, 27 October 2021 – The Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) is pleased to announce the first line-up of speakers for the IFSB Summit 2021, which will be held from 9 to 11 November 2021 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). The Summit will gather 9 Central Bank Governors and 26 distinguished speakers.

The theme for IFSB Summit 2021 “Islamic Finance and Digital Transformation: Balancing Innovation and Resilience” will focus on ways to foster innovation, technological adoption, accessibility, and sustainability in the Islamic financial system to boost its growth and development, as well as the policy implications arising from rapid digital transformation. Among the topics of discussion are:
