Welcome to the 17th Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) Summit landing page. We look forward to welcoming you to our flagship event from 2 to 4 February 2026 in the beautiful city of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, hosted by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO).
The theme of the Summit: “Islamic Finance for the Future: Breaking New Ground and Making an Impact”, reflects our shared ambition to strengthen the role of Islamic finance in promoting global financial stability, enhancing financial inclusion, and responding to new challenges and opportunities presented by economic transformation, technological innovation, and climate imperatives.
We are honoured to partner with the Central Bank of Oman for this edition. Oman’s rapid growth in Islamic banking and finance, aligned with its broader vision for economic diversification, makes Muscat an ideal host city. The setting reflects the Summit’s spirit: forward-looking, ambitious, and poised to inspire collaboration across borders and sectors.
I encourage you to explore the programme and engage with the discussions that will shape the sector’s future. The sessions are designed to be forward-leaning and practical, challenging us to rethink existing approaches while identifying opportunities that can strengthen resilience, enhance governance and broaden the industry’s contribution to sustainable development.
I warmly welcome all leaders and members of the industry to take part. Your insights and leadership will be essential as we work together to advance Islamic finance’s impact in the global financial system.
See you soon in Muscat for an engaging and impactful Summit!
